The Fashion and Textiles Design program provides studio access, expert-led classes and mentorship to emerging designers. Our program focuses on sustainable making and material practices, hand-made textiles and upcycling.
We offer a one year Foundation of Design program taught by a team of renowned fashion designers, artists and industry experts. Over the course of the year you will learn: fashion design research and development, digital and hand illustration, textile and material experimentation, sewing, draping, pattern-making, technical design, and portfolio design and presentation. Student work is critiqued from established designers, who offer support and guidance throughout the program.
We offer a one year full-scholarship to 20 designers each year. We accept all levels of experience; demonstrated interest in fashion or textile design is a must.
