Save the date for the much anticipated marigold-themed sequel to last year’s Material Fête.
Each year, Material Institute awards six emerging artists with studio time to record an EP. The annual showcase features live performances of the year’s projects. We’ll start the event off with afternoon garden activities, food, music, and community marigold dyeing.
We’ll start the day off at 4pm with an afternoon of garden activities centered on marigolds; using their vibrant color in food, crafts, and planting. Experience a Flower Essence Workshop with Renee Kimberly Smith. And join us for a live hands-on Marigold Dye Workshop led by multi-disciplinary artist, Jazzmyne Cry.
