The Recording Artist Residency is a cost-free, year-long program designed to further the creative and professional development of musical artists from New Orleans.

Selected independent artists create a body of work and gain skills through recording an EP of original material; vocal and performance instruction; professional development workshops; creating a studio performance video; and performing at a showcase concert.

Professional development workshops/talks include album art, social media, booking, and management.

Applications for the Recording Artist Residency will open again in May 2025.
