Garden Camp

Registration Currently Closed. Check back soon for for Summer Camp Registration.

Material Institute is excited to host Fall and Summer Camps for children 5–16 years old. Throughout the day campers will work in the garden and learn about sustainable gardening, raising healthy and happy chickens, Louisiana ecology, healthy cooking techniques and a variety of ways to express their creativity! Snacks and lunch will be provided.

This camp is perfect for children who enjoy being outdoors and getting dirty! Throughout our time together we hope that campers take ownership of the garden and have the knowledge and initiative to claim their own space for growing in the garden or at their homes.  24 Carrot Garden is located at Material Institute – a learning environment that serves as a space for community, creative experimentation, and expression. We’ll explore creative passions in fashion and music with the help of our knowledgeable instructors.
